Welcome everyone!
The past and certainly the present remind us again of the value and need for scientific and critical thinking in society and everyday life, in addition to working together in a respectful and inclusive manner. These are all issues I believe in and will contribute to throughout my career. There is a lot of work to do!
I'm an Assistant Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University. My group uses multi-scale multi-geophysical tools to inform properties and processes along the western North American plate boundary. We're especially interested in combining geology, seismology, electrical/electromagnetic methods and geodesy to achieve a more holistic understanding of plate boundary geohazards and their societal impact. If you are an aspiring Masters or Doctoral student in Geophysics and interested in joining my group, then feel free to reach out and we can discuss more.
