Welcome everyone. These are indeed some very challenging times. I truly hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.

If anything, these times have reminded us again of the value and need for scientific and critical thinking in our society, in addition to working together in a respectful and inclusive manner. These are all issues I believe in and will contribute to throughout my career. Indeed, there is a lot of work to do.

I'm an Assistant Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University, and I'm looking for new students. My work employs multi-scale multi-geophysical tools to inform properties and processes along the western North American plate boundary. I'm particularly interested in combining geology, seismology, electrical/electromagnetic methods and geodesy to achieve a more holistic understanding of plate boundary geohazards and their societal impacts. If you are an aspiring Master or Doctoral students in Geophysics and are interested in joining these scientific endeavors then email me and we can discuss more.
